Ultrasonography
Ultrasounds are helpful in diagnosing kidney, bladder and gallbladder stones, tumors, and other changes in a variety of organs. Ultrasound guided colonoscopy, endoscopy, rhinoscopy and biopsy procedures are also available. Dr. Michael T. Verra, DVM, DABVP, visits monthly at SVH to provide these services. We believe that ultrasound is a valauable tool, but gives the best diagnostic opportunity when performed by a specialist.
